Where have we been?

Hi readers!  Yes, you.  Out there.  Remember us?

Lisa and I truly thought that we'd be back to blogging like mad when September rolled around.  Here it is, September 11th, and we are both barely digging out from the start of school.  We'd rather be shopping, but instead, Lisa's working a full-time job that she loves and is more concerned about finding childcare than with shopping.  Only for the moment, not to fear!

And I, well, I have no excuse really.  I haven't really had the time to troll the malls, stores, and shopping streets that I love since school's been back in session.  'Camp Mommy' might have ended (thank goodness), but 'Mommy' seems to have lined up all kinds of appointments and home improvement projects for early September.  

So, it's not that we're losing interest.  We just haven't had a moment.  But trust me, there's a half-written post about peplum that I hope to finish up soon and after that I need to head back out shopping.  In fact, the first round of clothing-that-needs-to-go-to-consignment is ready to roll, my closets are cleaned out, and I'm still on the hunt for the perfect, nude heel and the just-right black blazer.  The weather has changed and the sweaters will soon follow.  Thanks for being patient and tuning in!  ~ JH
